While You’re Gone, LLC was founded by a military veteran whose travel caused the strain of securing home and pet care from friends and family for frequent and extended periods of time. The seasons brought the additional hassle of arranging lawn care or snow removal, and the worry of structure damage from high summer winds or water damage from frozen water pipes. While You’re Gone was formed to meet all the demands of the traveling customer with one company and strong commitments.

Committed to Customers

Our commitment to customers is to provide high-quality, professional services to meet all of their home and pet care needs giving them peace of mind while they travel. We have teamed with several small businesses in the local community to form an extensive network of professional service providers enabling While You’re Gone to meet any demand or need of the traveling customer. We give the customer the highest customer satisfaction at the most reasonable cost.

Committed to Employees

Customers can count on the While You’re Gone Team to provide a professional and quality service through our commitment to ensure our employees are well trained and of the highest integrity. All of our employees receive background checks, are drug tested, and are insured and bonded starting day one on the job. All Home and Pet Care Team members receive training in home monitoring practices, Pet First Aid certification through the American Red Cross, and perform volunteer work with the Humane Society.

Committed to Community

We think it is important to take care of our customers and employees, and think it is equally important to take care of our community. Every year While You’re Gone, LLC will donate 10% of all profits to local and national charities. The following charities have been selected for 2008:
